  • Supervisor Warehouse Inventory Control

  • Overview

    Implement and maintain inventory control and warehousing system in a clean, safe and organized manner while providing support to Production/Planning.


    • Coordinating the shipping, receiving, product storage and related inventory control functions of the facility to ensureinventory accuracy.
    • Support all tactical operations by enforcing plans and policies.
    • Ensure security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation, process and procedureverification, and system review.
    • Conduct physical inventories and lead cycle counts.
    • Conduct root cause analysis on cycle count discrepancies.
    • Audit incoming and outgoing shipments to assure quality and accuracy.
    • Compile and document all transactions.
    • Work with the plant leadership and procurement teams as necessary to drive continuous improvement efforts inoverall inventory management.
    • Investigate and control product shortages.
    • Interface with quality assurance, tech team, and sales.
    • Perform daily productions shift reconciliation & make necessary adjustments.
    • Schedule the receiving, delivery and issuing of raw material and components, also transferring finished products forsales orders in a timely manner.
    • Maintain office & work areas in a clean, safe and organized fashion.
    • Maintain safe & healthy work environment in accordance with OSHA requirements. This includes maintaining reports, employee safety training, monthly safety checklist, safety supplies inventory, safe workstations, safe-to-usetools & enforcing the use of safety equipment.
    • Requires standing, sitting, squatting, and climbing for up to the length of an 8 hour shift. Requires the ability tofrequently move 50 pounds, and occasionally lift/move 100 pounds or more with assistance or use of a forklift.Specific vision abilities for the position: close vision, color Vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and theability to adjust focus.
    • Other duties as may be assigned.


    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Proven ability to deal with a lot of pressure and work effectively in challenging situations
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
    • Ability to safely operate a forklift

    Education and/or Experience

    • Minimum three years experience in data collection, inventory control, materials management, warehouse plantsupport or a combination of education and experience equal to above preference.
    • Strong computer skills, MS Office required, knowledge of warehouse management systems a plus
    • Ability to maintain productivity standards and inventory accuracy
